Assam is a full-bodied black tea from the Chardwar estate, grown on the fertile plains of the Brahmaputra River in Northeast India. This TGFOP1 (Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1) grade is rich in golden tips and flavour — a bold, malty cup with a smooth finish and natural sweetness. All our teas are organic, plastic-free, and hand-blended in Devon.
Tasting Notes
Robust and malty with rich body and notes of dried fruit, toast, and caramel. The finish is smooth and naturally sweet, with a satisfying depth that holds up beautifully to milk.
