Shipping policy
Postal Delivery We offer postal delivery across mainland UK (excluding the Channel Islands) on all dry food and non-liquid products. We dispatch via Royal Mail Tracked 24/48 — we choose Royal Mail as our primary courier because, comparatively, they have the lowest carbon footprint without offsetting. Parcels up to 10kg are sent via this service; for larger items we may occasionally use an alternative provider.
We also offer a low-cost 'Other Courier' option. This may be any of the main courier companies and will not be tracked, so delivery dates cannot be confirmed or guaranteed. Please bear this in mind when selecting this option at checkout.
Dispatch Times For orders placed Monday to Friday, we aim to dispatch the same or next working day, though during busy periods this may be 2–3 working days. Orders placed after midday will be dispatched the following working day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched on the following Monday or Tuesday.

- Free 48-hour tracked delivery on all orders over £50
There is a minimum order value of £10. Please note that delivery timeframes are calculated from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed — we cannot be held responsible for delays outside of our control. You'll receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is placed, and tracked delivery means you'll know exactly when to expect it.
Packaging We will never use single-use plastic in our packaging. All food is supplied in recycled paper bags, and we reuse boxes and paper wrap from deliveries that come to us. Some food items contain natural oils which may be absorbed by the paper bags — where this is likely, items will be packaged in sterilised donated containers or double-bagged where possible, though some seepage may still occur.
Quantities & Ordering Everything in our online shop is listed per 100g (herbs & spices per 10g) — to order more, simply increase the quantity at checkout (e.g. select 5 for 500g of flour). We're a small shop with limited storage, so if you're looking to order in bulk, please contact us first to confirm availability. We cannot post orders over 10kg due to postage costs and the risk of damage — any orders exceeding this weight will not be dispatched and a full refund will be issued.
Pricing We believe everyone should pay the same price regardless of how much they buy. We buy in bulk so you don't have to — meaning you'll always get the best price whether you order a little or a lot. We don't offer bulk buy discounts.
Freshness Dried food is packed as close to dispatch time as possible to minimise time out of the airtight containers used in store. We recommend transferring products to airtight containers at home as soon as they arrive. If you're ordering food products, we'd recommend selecting next day delivery at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery that result in food items deteriorating. Please bear delivery times in mind if ordering fresh items such as bread or cakes, as transit time will affect freshness. We cannot control the temperature of products once dispatched — we advise against ordering chilled products by post, though you may do so at your own accepted risk.
Liquid Refills We're unable to offer liquid refills by post. All liquid refills are supplied in glass bottles — and due to the weight of glass and the risk of breakage in transit, postal delivery isn't possible for these products. If you're in our local area, liquid refills are available via our Doorstep Delivery service.
Alcohol We can include alcohol in postal orders. Please note we won't accept orders containing only alcohol, and on occasion we may need proof of age before we can ship your order.
Allergens Ingredients and allergen information are listed on each product page and highlighted on the label included with food products. While we do our very best to prevent cross-contamination, due to the nature of a refill store we cannot guarantee it.
Issues & Returns If there's any problem with your order, please let us know as soon as possible and we'll do our best to resolve it quickly. Due to safety regulations, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on liquids or food — please see our Refund Policy for further details.
International & European Delivery Courier restrictions mean we're unable to ship any liquid products outside of mainland UK. For non-liquid items, if you're based in Europe or further afield, please get in touch before ordering and we'll see what we can do.
