A low-temperature oxygen stain remover for safe laundry and home destaining — Green Bleach (Percarbonate of Soda). Restores, refreshes, and removes stains without fading colours, and is kinder to fabrics and the environment than chlorine bleach. Biodegradable, dye free, vegan, and UK made in Northamptonshire.

How to use:

  • Machine wash: Add 1 tbsp with your detergent. Works from 40°C.
  • Hand wash: Add 1 tbsp with detergent to warm water. Dissolve, wash, and rinse.
  • Soak: As above — leave for 30–60 minutes.
  • Refresh reusables: For stained containers, bottles, mugs, cups, surfaces, and sinks — add 1–2 tbsp with hot water. Soak for 15 minutes, then rinse.
  • Safe and kinder than chlorine bleach
  • Removes stains without fading colours
  • Good for soaking, washing, and removing mould and mildew

Sodium Percarbonate is a chemical, an adduct of sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide (a perhydrate) Sodium Percarbonate, also know as Sodium Carbonate Peroxyhydrate, or oxygen bleach is a granular, coated, white powder. Percarbonate has an active available oxygen content (13%) which is equivalent to 27.5% Hydrogen peroxide. It has a formula of 2Na2CO3 · 3H2O2. It is a colourless, crystalline, hygroscopic and water-soluble solid. It is used in some eco-friendly cleaning products and as a laboratory source of anhydrous hydrogen peroxide. This product contains the carbonate anion, and should not be confused with sodium peroxocarbonate Na2CO4 or peroxodicarbonate Na2C2O6, which contain different anions. It contains no phosphorus or nitrogen. Dissolved in water, it yields a mixture of hydrogen peroxide (which eventually decomposes to water and oxygen) and sodium carbonate ("soda ash").
