Mancoco Gayo Highlands
A Sumatran single origin with extraordinary depth. This Gayo Highlands coffee is grown by the Bener Meriah Farmer Group near Tingkem, Aceh, Sumatra — at altitudes of 1,100–1,450 metres above sea level in rich, fertile volcanic loam soils that give Sumatran coffees their signature full body, complexity, and earthy intensity.
Tasting Notes: Dark chocolate, tamarind, and plum.
The Farmers: The Bener Meriah Farmer Group is a collective of 400 smallholder farmers working across 450 hectares of volcanic highland terrain. Each cherry is hand-picked to ensure ideal ripeness, followed by a 12-hour fermentation process and multiple days of careful drying until the coffee reaches 13% moisture — a meticulous process that produces a rich, full-bodied, and deeply satisfying cup. Certified Organic and Fairtrade.
