Bold, malty, and deeply satisfying. Our Organic Assam is a full-bodied black tea from the Chardwar estate, grown on the fertile plains of the Brahmaputra River in Northeast India. This TGFOP1 (Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1) grade is rich in golden tips — producing a robust, malty cup with a smooth finish and a natural sweetness that makes it the perfect everyday black tea, with or without milk.

Tasting Notes: Robust and malty with a rich body and notes of dried fruit, toast, and caramel. The finish is smooth and naturally sweet, with a satisfying depth that holds up beautifully to milk.

How to Brew: Use one heaped teaspoon per cup, brew with freshly boiled water at 100°C, and steep for 3–4 minutes. Add milk to taste for a classic builder’s brew, or enjoy black to appreciate the full depth of flavour.

Brewing Ritual Strong, smooth, and ready for milk. Use 1 teaspoon (approx. 2g) per 250ml. Steep at 95–100°C for 3–4 minutes. Delicious black or with milk or a plant-based alternative. Strong enough for a second steep if desired.
