Mancoco - Sugar Cane Decaffeinated
All the flavour of a great Colombian coffee, without the caffeine. This Sugar Cane Decaffeinated coffee comes from the San Lorenzo farm in the Rio Sucio Municipality of Caldas, Colombia — grown at altitudes of 1,700–2,000 metres above sea level and decaffeinated using the natural sugar cane process, which preserves the full complexity and sweetness of the bean without the use of chemical solvents.
Tasting Notes: Full, sweet body of hazelnut and chocolate, with hints of red apple and cherry.
The Process: Sugar cane decaffeination uses ethyl acetate derived naturally from fermented sugar cane to gently remove caffeine while retaining the coffee’s natural flavour compounds — resulting in a decaf that tastes like a proper specialty coffee, not an afterthought.
