Refreshed batch by batch with organic rye flour and water ever since, this Bread Matters Organic Sourdough Starter is the distant descendant of that very same Russian culture. Just add warm water and rye flour to bring it back to life — one more refreshment and you're a sourdough baker. Never buy industrial yeast again.
