Coconut coir. Galvanised steel core. Handmade.

This washing-up brush from LoofCo is handmade from coconut coir fibre twisted around a galvanised steel core — strong enough for scrubbing pans, small enough to reach into cups. Coir is the natural fibrous material found beneath the matured brown coconut husk, with unique properties that make it ideal for brushes. The bristles may feel firm when dry but soften beautifully in warm water. Comes with a metal hanging loop for easy drying between uses. Long-lasting in normal use, and when worn out the coir fibres are biodegradable and the steel core can be recycled.

How to use

Rinse thoroughly before first use. Use with warm water and washing-up liquid or washing-up soap. After use, rinse, shake out excess water and food particles, and hang to dry from the metal loop. Occasionally soak in hot water with washing-up liquid and air dry to freshen.
